The student visa is for applicants who aim to study in one of the schools in Belgium. Applicants should ensure notification of admission  before applying for this visa. As an international student, you’ll need to apply for a national long-stay visa   (D  visa), which allows you to stay longer than 90 days in Belgium. Applicants are to provide proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros for their stay. A medical certificate stating you don’t carry any diseases that may endanger public health   (such  as TB, diseases that require quarantine and other infectious diseases) is also required. Applicants of this visa are students who have the intention of studying in Cyprus. Before this visa is issued, a letter of acceptance from the school should be submitted. An enrollment certificate allowing attendance of courses in Cyprus is required. Holders of this visa should be in possession of the relevant permit issued by the Civil Archive and Migration Department. The student visa is issued for a specific educational institution. In case of Kenyans deciding to change an educational institution, one must then obtain a new residence permit. Kenyans on the students visa are not permitted to work. Exceptions are made by the Government of the Republic of Cyprus for certain courses for which working permits may be issued to enable practical training during the summer vacations. The Cyprus study visa is only issued to Kenyans who intend to study full time.  A full-time student is one who takes a minimum of 12 credits in a semester. A Poland student visa is a National visa. This visa is issued to foreigners who would like to study and stay in Poland for longer than 30 days. It is important for students to have health insurance that comes to at least 30,000 euros. Students are required to carry enough funds that'd ensure they can comfortably spend 20 euros per day.  When you receive your student visa you will be issued a temporary residence card. The first residence permit is issued for a period of 15 months. It can be renewed afterwards for periods of up to 3 years. Kenyans who intend to study in Denmark are eligible to apply for this visa. The study visa permits its holder to remain in Denmark for a duration of 3 months. Kenyans looking to study in Switzerland are eligible for the Swiss student visa. You have to decide what you want to study before starting your student visa application process. After being accepted at a Swiss university, you’ll get an acceptance letter required for visa application. Switzerland recognizes two types of student visa: Type C visa – for short courses (summer schools, language schools) that last only for three months. Type D visa – for courses that last longer than three months. If you apply for a Type D visa and plan to stay in Switzerland longer than three months, you will have to arrange to get your residence permit from the cantonal migration offices within 14 days after your arrival. Proof of sufficient financial means for coverage of living costs in Switzerland for the duration of schooling is required. Students are required to provide evidence of having 21,000 CHF or 19,200 EUR at the beginning of each year of studies. International students can take up part-time work for up to 15 hours a week during the semester and they can work full-time during holidays. But you have to have lived in Switzerland for six months before you can take a job as a student. It is better to schedule the appointment for a visa interview as early as 6 months before your planned day of travel to Switzerland, but no later than ten weeks before. There are no specific language(including  Switzerland official languages Romansh) requirements for a study visa for Switzerland. On the other hand, universities will require proof of language proficiency when you apply. In some cases, the embassy will want to evaluate your language knowledge based on a short interview at the consulate or even an oral and written test. Unless the application form and all required documents are in French, German or English, you will need a certified translation of all documents into one of these languages. Kenyans who intend to travel to Sweden for educational purposes are eligible for the Swedish student visa. Visas and residence permits for international students in Sweden depend on the duration of their course study.  There are two types of Swedish student visa: Short-stay student visa: This visa is valid for three months. Long-stay student visa: This visa is valid for one year, and it is also extendable. If you are applying for the long-stay visa, you are required to also apply for a residence permit.  If you are the recipient of a scholarship, student aid or similar grant, you are required to provide documents supporting this, showing your name, the monthly amount you are entitled to and the period during which you will receive the fund. If you are a doctoral student, you must provide the decision on your admission as a doctoral student with information about the time of admission as well as a certificate with the details of the doctoral studies, issued by the place of study. If you are not going to study on a scholarship, you need to pay a portion of the fee before submitting your application for the permit and provide proof of payment. Students are required to show proof of financial stability. Students must have at least 90 dollars (540 SEK) for each day of their stay in Sweden. You must also provide proof that you have comprehensive health insurance in Sweden. If you have insurance through the school, you are required to send confirmation of this. The Iceland student visa enables Kenyans to visit Iceland to study in one of the institutions in the country. You must ensure you have been accepted into one of the institutions of your choice in the country before applying for visa. Students will need to apply for a residence permit before arriving in Iceland which can be done by contacting the Directorate of Immigration in Iceland or by notifying the nearest Icelandic embassy. All students are required to apply for a Kennitala – an Icelandic ID/social security number - which is used for every day matters, such as opening a bank account. This visa is exclusive for students who have been accepted into a school in Malta. An original passport valid for at  least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Malta is required. If you are not traveling with your parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided. You are not allowed to seek public funds while you are in the country. Receipt of paid visa application fee is required. Applicants who do not have a clean medical record may not be issued this visa.
