Proof that you have the incentive of returning to your country at the expiration of your visa should be submitted. With the tourist visa, you are not allowed to study or work while you are in the country. All travelers are expected to have proof that they have the incentive to return to their home country. For Kenyans that are employed, a letter confirming your leave is required. You are expected to abide by all the rules guiding your visa. You cannot take up a course to study in any of the institutions of learning in the country. Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided during visa application. At the expiry of your visa, you are expected to leave the country.

The tourist visa is for those traveling to the Czech Republic to relax, sightseeing, and recreational purposes. This visa can also serve as a visitor visa. If you have friends and relatives in the country, you can visit them with this visa. Original passport of  the applicant which has a validity of 3 months after the intended date of exit from the country should be submitted. The passport should have two blank pages for necessary stamps and must have been issued within the last 10 years. Application for this visa can be done 3 months but not later than 15 days before the intended date of travel. A letter of invitation from your host in the country should be provided if you are visiting a relative. The home address, telephone number and a valid means of identification of your host should be provided. The letter  of invitation must be verified by the Czech Alien Police Inspectorate. If you are visiting a relative in the country, you are required to show proof of family ties. Kenyans who are employed should have a letter from their employer stating approval of their leave and how long the leave is for. For applicants who are self employed a copy of their Kenyan pin certificate and most recent tax payment certificate should be submitted. In cases of organised tourism, proof of booking of organized trip from host company (i.e. voucher) should be submitted.If the confirmation of booking does not include proof of prepayment; proof of pre-/down-payment is required. A copy of air tickets reservations including return tickets is to be submitted to the embassy. sometimes the original copy might be requested. proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be provided. proof of financial sufficiency in for of bank statement or travellers cheque that covers the duration of stay  should be submitted. Applicants of this visa should be able to provide proof of being able to afford a minimum of 1100 CZK every day of their stay in the country if the total duration of their visit is not more than 30 days. If their stay in the Czech Republic is going to be for more than 30 days, they should be able to afford 33000 CZK.  Applicants travelling with minors are to submit a copy of the original birth certificate of the minor along side a written consent letter from either one or both parents of the minor. In all such cases the parent/legal guardian's passport copy should be provided. With this visa, foreigners are not allowed to study or be employed during their time in the country. Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided. Overstaying your visa is prohibited. You should leave the country as soon as your visa expires. The visa costs €60.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay. If you are employed, a letter from your employer in Kenya is required. The letter should state that your employer is aware of your leave. If you are not a Kenyan, you are required to present a copy of your Kenyan stay permit during the visa application process. proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. Children under the age of 18 years should possess the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are not travelling with their parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided. Proof of incentive of returning to Kenya is required. Applicants should ensure they have the receipt of paid visa application fees.

This visa allows Kenyans to visit Italy for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation, and recreation. With this visa, foreigners may also visit friends and relatives in the country. Those visiting friends and relatives in Italy require an invitation letter from their host. The letter should have the home address and telephone number of their host in the country. Applicants passport that has a validity of 6 months from the date of  departure should be submitted. Holders of this visa are prohibited from enrolling in one of the institutions of learning to take up a course of study. You can attend events and festivals in the country with this visa. If you are employed, a letter from your employer in Kenya is required. The letter should state that your employer is aware of your leave. travel insurance that has a minimum value of 30,000 euroes should be submitted. proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. The Spanish tourist visa is granted to Kenyans who intend to visit Spain for tourism and sightseeing. Spain is one of the world’s top tourist destinations and is used to welcoming millions of visitors from around the world every year.  A visitor who wants to enter Spain as a tourist requires a short term visa. This short term visa is also known as Schengen (tourist) visa. This visa is issued for a maximum duration of 90 days. Here are some required documents for applicants: Passport that is valid for at least six months after the intended date of travel and three months after scheduled return from travel; with previous passport and two full blank pages to affix the visa Three colored copies of the data page of the passport. Two 3.5cm x 4.5cm coloured passport photographs that is not more than 1 month old and with a white background Pay slips for the past six months. Personal statement of account for the past six months and that of your company, if you are being sponsored. General income generated by property, share certificates, bonds, and proof of ties to Kenya (marriage), if any. Hotel Booking:  In the case where you have no one to invite you, you will need a valid hotel booking as proof of accommodation arrangement.  You must show proof of having valid travel insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000. Here are some do's and don'ts while traveling to Spain: Regionalism and religious topics are very sensitive for Spaniards, so be careful about certain discussions.  Make sure you dress accordingly. The Netherlands tourist visa is also known as the "Type C" Schengen visa. It enables tourists to visit the Netherlands for relaxation or pleasure. You must have a valid passport with at least two blank pages to affix the visa. Two passport photographs with the following requirements are needed: Taken recently (not older than six months). 35 x 45mm photo size. White background. Neutral facial expression.  Travelers intending to visit friends and family in the Netherlands should also secure a tourist visa. If you have a host in the Netherlands, you are required to present a letter of invitation from your host. Your host’s home address, telephone number and other means of contact (if any) should be written in detail in the letter. Kenyans visiting the Netherlands on a tourist visa are not allowed to take up a program of learning while in the country. Holders of this visa can attend events and festivals if they wish to do so. A letter from your employer in Kenya stating awareness and allowance of your leave is required. Your position in the company and the length of your employment should also be stated. During your visa application, you are required to provide a covering letter briefly introducing yourself and explaining the true purpose and duration of your visit. A copy of an onward or return ticket is also important. Flight itinerary stating the  dates, flight numbers as well as entry and exit details from the Netherlands should be provided. Proof of travel insurance must be provided -- a minimum of €30,000 coverage within the Netherlands and the entire Schengen area. During your time in the country, you are not allowed to seek public funds. The Netherlands tourist visa is a short-stay visa. Extending the visa beyond the 90-day validity is only possible under very strict conditions, e.g., in the case of emergencies. If you wish to stay longer in the country, your best decision might be to apply for a long-stay visa instead.

The Schengen tourist visa is for Kenyans visiting Portugal for sightseeing, adventures and vacations. Portugal is part of the Schengen Area which is made up of 26 European countries, so a Schengen visa is required.  Tourists are required to register with Portuguese Immigration Service within three days of entering Portugal. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in an administrative offense punishable with a fine from €60 to €160. The currency used in Portugal is Euro. The following documents are also required: Two 35 mm x 45mm  passport-sized photos with white background. Your original passport and copies of your previous visas. Proof of travel insurance to cover you for the Schengen area. Cover letter stating the purpose of your visit and itinerary that includes your activities, flight dates and times, entry and exit out of Portugal. Accommodation plans for the duration of your stay. For example, hotel reservations. Proof of sufficient funds to last the duration of your stay. For example, records of bank statements for the last three months. Tourists and short-term visitors can drive in Portugal for up to six months using their foreign licence. The general speed limits are: Built-up urban areas: 50km/h Rural roads: 90km/h Motorways: 120km/h Consumption of drugs like heroin, cocaine and the others are not considered criminal. Portugal is a safe country but you have to be careful because of petty crimes. Tourists that are going hiking should be careful because of cliff erosion.

Kenyans who also want to visit relatives and friends in the country can do so using this visa. Those who have a host in Greece are required to present a letter of invitation from their host. The home address and telephone number of the host should be included in the letter. All travelers with tourist visa are not allowed to enroll in any of the schools in the country. Holders of this visa can attend events and festivals if they so wish. You are required to have a letter from your employer in Kenya stating awareness of leave. The duration of your leave should be stated in the letter. Non-Kenyans should provide a copy of their Kenyan stay permit. Original copy of minors’ birth certificate is required. If they are not traveling with their parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided. A document that shows that you have the incentive of returning to Kenya is required. Proof of paid visa application fees is required. Paid or unpaid employment in the country for foreigners is strictly prohibited. During your time in the country, you are not allowed to seek public funds.
