Two recent passport-sized photographs must be provided. Applicants of the tourist visa may have received an invitation from their friends or relatives living in the country. If you have been invited to the country, you are required to provide a letter of invitation from your host. The letter should introduce the applicant and state the relationship between the applicant and the host. If you are not visiting relatives or friends, proof of a hotel reservation must be provided. Kenyans visiting the Marshall Islands are free to attend festivals and events of their choice while in the country. A letter from the applicant’s employer is required. The letter should state the awareness and allowance of the applicant’s leave. The duration of the trip should also be stated in the letter. Applicants should ensure they are in possession of the copy of their Kenyan residence permit. If you are under the age of 18 years, a copy of your birth certificate showing the name of both your parents is required. Applicants of this visa can negotiate and sign contracts during business meetings with their partners. Foreigners can also attend conferences, business summits and trade fairs while in the country on this visa. Applicants who would be attending conferences in the country should ensure they register for the conference before traveling to the Marshall Islands. A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya stating the applicant’s job status, the length of employment and the duration of the applicant’s visit is needed. The contact details of the employer should also be stated in the letter. An official letter of invitation from the host company is required. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and should state the nature of the business to be carried out in the country. The business letter should also state whether the host company or the sponsoring company will be responsible for the applicant’s finances in the Marshall Islands. Proof of previous business transactions between the host company and the sponsoring company should be provided, if any. Receipt that shows visa application fee has been paid in full is required. Documents which show that the applicant has the incentive of returning to Kenya is required. Proof of up-to-date routine vaccinations must be provided.
