This visa allows foreigners to visit Kuwait for sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation purposes. Kenyans who intend visiting friends and relatives in Kuwait can do so using this visa. Applicants who have the intention of visiting someone in the country are required to provide a letter of invitation from their host. The letter should contain the home address and telephone number of the host. This visa is not issued to foreigners who have an Israeli stamp on their passports. Foreigners on this visa are not allowed to receive payment for any of the services they render in the country. Receipt of paid visa application fee should be submitted with other necessary documents. A document that proves that you have the incentive of returning to your country is required. If you are employed, you are required to present a letter from your employer which states the awareness and allowance of your leave. Applicants of this visa can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner companies in the country. Kenyans can attend trade fairs, conferences, and business summits whilst in Kuwait. Foreigners with the intention of attending conferences in Kuwait should register before leaving the country. Proof of registration is required. A letter of invitation from the company you are visiting in Kuwait should be provided. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and addressed to “The Embassy of Kuwait, Visa Section” and signed by the senior manager. This visa is for students who have the intention of studying in one of the academic institutions in Kuwait. Before initiating the visa application process, students should ensure that they have been offered admission to the school of their choice. A letter of acceptance from the institution stating the course you have been offered and the duration of  study is required. If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be submitted with other documents during the visa application process. A copy of the applicants' student permit is required. International students are allowed to work part-time as long as it does not interfere with their study. The Work Visa is issued to foreigners who aim to take up paid employment during their time in the country. An official letter from your employer in Kuwait stating that you have been offered a job. The address of the company and your job position should be clearly stated in the letter. A Work Permit which is issued by the General Department of Immigration Affairs in Kuwait is required. If your spouse or family is accompanying you, it should be stated in the work permit. Health Certificate obtained from the local doctor certifying that the patient is in good health and free from contagious diseases. Proof that you don’t have prior convictions.
