Kenyans visiting Estonia with the tourist visa are visiting for the purposes of tourism, sightseeing or vacation. This visa allows foreigners to visit friends and relatives in the country. Foreigners visiting their friends or relatives in the country require an invitation letter from their host. The letter should have the valid home address and telephone number of their host. Bearers of this visa are not permitted to take up a course of study during their time in the country. The tourist visa can either be single or double entry. A fully completed and signed visa application form should be submitted. Applicants are to submit an international passport that has a validity of not less than 6 months from proposed date of departure. The validity of this visa is for 90 days and has a processing time of 15 days. You are free to attend festivals and events in the country. proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay. A letter from your employer confirming awareness and allowance of leave is required. The duration of your leave and your job position should be stated in the letter. Applicants are to submit a valid Schengen- approved travel insurance with a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance. Applicants are to submit proof of clean criminal record. Applicants under the age of 18 years are required to present the original copy of their birth certificate during the visa application process. You are required to have proof of the incentive of returning to your country after the expiration of your visa. proof of hotel reservation or accommodation is required. Proof of payment of visa application fees is required. Bearers of the tourist visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment while they are in the country. Kenyans are prohibited from seeking public funds during their time in the country. Retired persons should possess a pension statement from the last 6 months.

Applicants of the business visa are permitted to engage in business activities while they are in Estonia. Business activities that applicants can engage in include; negotiating and signing of contracts with partners. Holders of this visa can also attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits. An international passport with a validity of not less than 3 months to the proposed date of departure should be submitted. Two recent passport sized photograph  taken within the last 3 months should be submitted.  The Estonian business visa has a validity of 90 days. They are mostly issued as double or multi entry visas. An invitation letter from the  host company should be presented during the visa application process. The company address and the dates of your visit should be written in details in the letter. The responsibility of the applicants' expenses if it would be taken up by the employer or partner company should be stated in the letter of invitation. Your current employer in Kenya should provide a letter which states that he/she is aware of your business leave is required. Proof of previous dealings with the partner company in Estonia if any should be provided. Original certified copy of Memorandum and Article of Association as well as Trade License document should be provided. A copy of the Certificate of private business owner should be submitted. Private business owner are to submit their Income Tax Return of at least 6 months. You cannot be paid for services you render during your time in the country. Kenyans are not allowed to seek public funds in the country. For non-Kenyans, a copy of their stay permit in Kenya is required. Receipt of paid visa application fee is required. At the expiry of your visa, you are expected to leave the country.

The medical visa is for Kenyans who seek medical attention in Estonia. A recent  passport sized photogragh which must not be older than 3 months should be submitted. The medical visa has a validity of 90 days. A medical report from your local physician is required. Your diagnosis should be clearly stated, as well as the reason the treatment cannot be gotten in Kenyan. Confirmation of treatment with the valid dates from the hospital or doctor in Estonia is required. Your medical situation should be clearly stated. A letter from your employer stating allowance and awareness of your leave is required. Your status in the company and the duration of your employment should be stated. Receipt of paid medical fees is required. Retired applicants must provide pension statements of the last 6 months. Proof of financial sufficiency that cover the medical bill. Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country. Receipt of payment of visa application fee is required.

Students with the intention of taking up a course of study in Estonia are the applicants eligible for this visa. This visa permits its holder to remain in Estonia for a maximum of 3 months. If your study or training course lasts longer than that, you should apply for a Long-Stay Study . Applicants are to fill and submit two visa application forms. A passport issued within the last 10 years that has a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of departure. Ensure you have been accepted into the institution you applied for before you start the visa application process. A letter of acceptance from the school you have been enrolled in should be provided before this visa is issued to you. Applicants are expected to have the certificates and transcripts from schools they have attended previously. A copy of stay permits for non-Kenyans applying from Kenya is required. Proof of accommodation or dormitory reservation. Proof of full or part payment of tuition fee. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay. Proof of clean criminal record of the applicant. Holders of this visa are allowed to work as long as it does not interfere with their study. This visa can be extended to cover the duration of your study in the country. Children under the age of 18 years are required to have the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling without their parents or one of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents should be provided. Students cannot seek public funds during their time in the country. Receipt of paid visa application form is required.

This visa is for government officials who are visiting Estonia to foster the relationship between the government of Estonia and Kenya. This visa is only issued on the grounds of meetings, consultations, negotiations, exchange programs, other events held in Estonia by intergovernmental organizations A diplomatic note from the Kenyan government  stating the purpose of your journey and the schedule of your meetings is required.  The original copy of the invitation letter from the Estonian government is required. Applicants of this visa are Heads of State, Consular officers, ministers, and African Union representatives. Travel itinerary or round trip reservation should also be submitted. Medical travel insurance that is acceptable in any Schengen state is required. If the purpose of your visit to the country is non-official, you will not be issued this visa. Only Head of States is exempted from this. Minors should ensure they have the original copy of their birth certificate. If minors are traveling with one or neither of their parents, notarized travel permission is required. Diplomats can attend conferences and meetings while you are in the country. Bearers of this visa are not allowed to take up a course of study or be paid for services they render in the country. A valid means of identification of the applicant is mandatory. An extension to the official visa is only possible in exceptional cases.

With the transit visa, Kenyans can make short stops in the country. Holders of the transit visa can transit through Estonia to their destination country. Visa or other types of entry permit of the destination country is required. Flight ticket of your destination country is required. Minors are required to have the original copy of their birth certificate. Previously convicted criminals  may not be issued this visa. Proof of paid visa application fee should be presented. You are neither allowed to study nor take up paid or unpaid employment during your time in the country. The transit visa is valid for 24 hours. There is no extension to this visa. Before the expiry of your visa, you are expected to leave the country.
