Those visiting friends and relatives in Italy require an invitation letter from their host. The letter should have the home address and telephone number of their host in the country. Applicants passport that has a validity of 6 months from the date of  departure should be submitted. Holders of this visa are prohibited from enrolling in one of the institutions of learning to take up a course of study. You can attend events and festivals in the country with this visa. If you are employed, a letter from your employer in Kenya is required.
