The tourist visa allows foreigners to visit Morocco for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation and relaxation. There are two types of tourist vis a:                 -  Single-entry visa (costs 220MAD)                  - M ultiple-entry visa (costs 330MAD). The applicant must have a passport with at least six-month validity. With the Tourist Visa, Kenyans can visit their friends and family living in the country. The Morocco tourist visa is issued for a period of up to 90 days. If the traveler wants to stay for more than 90 days in Morocco, he or she will require a resident permit to do so. If you remain in Morocco beyond 90 days without having requested an extension of stay, you will need to appear before a judge prior to departing Morocco. If you are not visiting friends or relative, you must show proof of confirmed hotel reservations. Bear in mind that having a visa does not mean automatic entry into Morocco. The Immigration Officer at the port of entry may refuse entry to any person, if he considers that such a person is unable to fulfill the immigration requirements or that such person's presence in Morocco would be contrary to national interests or security. An Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) can be obtained instead of appearing physically at the embassy for a tourist visa, but this option is not available to all nationals. Only nationals from Guinea, Congo and Mali can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization. flight bookings and travel itinerary for the entire duration of your stay in Morocco must also be provided. You're required to provide a copy of your round trip or tour ticket during application. A copy of your bank statement of not more than four weeks old must be provided to prove that you are financially capable to support yourself during your stay in Morocco.  You need at least 12 - 15 dollars per day to stay in Morocco as a tourist.  Foreigners who are in the country on this visa are not allowed to take up part-time or full-time courses. If you are employed, a letter from your employer in Kenya should be provided. The letter should state that your employer is aware of your leave; the duration of your leave should be stated. You are required to provide proof of your travel insurance that covers the entire period of your trip to Morocco. Minors are required to present the original copy of their birth certificate. Minors who are traveling without their parents or with one of their parents are required to have a letter of consent signed by both their parents. Kenyans should provide a document which shows that they have the incentive of returning to their country after the expiry of their visa, e.g a return flight ticket or proof of family ties. Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided. While you are in the country, you are not allowed to take up paid work.

Letter from the applicant’s employer written on the company’s letterhead should be provided. This letter should introduce the applicant, indicate the applicant’s position in the company and clearly state the purpose of visit to Morocco. An official invitation letter from the company in Morocco should be provided. The company’s address, the reason for your visit and the duration of your stay should be clearly stated. Certificate of business registration of the company in Morocco is required. A copy of your legal status in Kenya is required. If your employer or the company you are meeting with will be responsible for taking care of your expenses, it should be stated in the invitation letter. If you have been in business with the same company previously, proof of this should be presented during the visa application process. Kenyans should have proof that they have the incentive of returning to their country at the expiry of their visa.
