Kenyans intending to visit friends and relatives in the country can do so using this visa. Since Denmark is one of the Schengen countries, the Danish tourist visa allows its holder to visit other countries in the Schengen Area. Foreigners travelling to the country to visit friends and relatives should ensure they have a letter of invitation from the host. Home address and telephone number of the host should be clearly stated in the letter of invitation. Events and festivals can be attended by Kenyans with this visa. If you are employed, a letter from your employer stating allowance and awareness of your leave is required. The purpose of your visit and the duration of your stay in the country should be stated in the letter. Applicants are to submit their passport which has a validity of at least six months from the proposed date of travel. copies of previous visas should also be submitted. A travel health insurance that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted or its equivalent of 30,000 euros. applicants are to provide his travel itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit of the applicant from Denmark. Kenyans whose medical treatment is foreseen to last more than 90 days are advised to apply for a National visa.  applicants are to possess a passport that was issued within the last ten years and should have a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel. Kenyans who intend to study in Denmark are eligible to apply for this visa. The study visa permits its holder to remain in Denmark for a duration of 3 months. Before you apply for the student visa, you must have received an admission offer to study in Denmark from a Danish educational institution. If an applicant's study would exceed 3 months, the applicant should apply for a long-stay study visa.
