This visa is issued to Kenyans who intend to travel to Argentina for recreation, leisure or vacation purposes.  Kenyans visiting friends and family in Argentina are also eligible for this visa. The Argentine tourist visa are usually short term. The tourist visa is usually valid from between 30-90 days and its processing is between 3-5 days. Applicants who are travelling to Argentina to visit friends and family are required to submit an invitation letter stating the home address, telephone number and a valid means of identification of the host. All invitation letters are to be written in Spanish. An international passport with a validity of not less than six months should be submitted. Applicants are required to submit 2 copies of a 4*4 cm dimension passport photograph.  Applicants are advised to apply at least 45 days before their proposed journey.  Applicants are advised to refrain from making irrevocable travel plans until the visa has been issued. The interview process is done physically so applicants should prepare ahead. Applicants should provide proof of accommodation or hotel reservation for the period of time they intend to spend in Argentina. A proof of immigration status and round trip reservation is required.   Applicants of these visa are not permitted to carry out any form of business activity while in Argentina. Proof of financial sufficiency either through bank statement or any other acceptable means is to be submitted by the applicant. Employed applicants require a letter from their employer in Kenya confirming the details and duration of your employment as well as remuneration details. Applicants who are self-employed should present a copy of their certificate of business registration and last tax return. Non Kenyan citizens must provide a copy of their stay permit in Kenya. For children, the original copy of their birth certificate is required, as well as, a consent letter signed by both the parents written in or translated to Spanish. Holders of this visa cannot study in any of the country's institution of learning. Applicants are to submit a document that indicates that the applicant has the incentive of returning to his/her country. Applicants should submit proof of payment of visa application fee. Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules guiding this visa. 

This visa is issued to Kenyans who intend to participate in short business activities during their time in Argentina. Applicants of these visa may negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner companies in the country. Holders of this visa are also allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits. The host company in Argentina must be registered with the National Registry of Petitioners on behalf of Foreign Applicants ( RENURE ) of the National Directorate of Migration.  Applicants are advised to make their application at least 45 days before departure date. The visa processing time takes about 5-7 working days and has a 90 days validity. A letter of invitation from your business partner in Argentina stating the purpose and duration of your visit to the country is to be submitted to the embassy/consulate. A letter from your employer in Kenya confirming the duration and purpose of your trip is to be sent to the embassy/consulate. The letter should also contain the details of all businesses and persons to contact in Argentina. Applicants who own their own businesses are to submit a copy of their certificate of business registration and last tax return. Applicants are to provide proof of accommodation or hotel reservation for their stay in Argentina. Applicants are advised not to make non-refundable payment pending the approval of their  application. If your employer is to assume the moral and financial responsibility of your trip, this should be clearly stated in the letter. Proof of previous business dealings with your host company in Argentina should be provided(if any). Applicants are to submit proof of payment of visa application fee. You are to provide a proof of incentive of returning to your home country at the expiration of your visa. Kenyans are advised to get Yellow fever vaccination before leaving their country. All the documents must be written or translated into Spanish.

This visa allows Kenyans to travel to Argentina for paid employment. Kenyans applying for this visa should ensure they have been offered a job in Argentina before initiating the application process. A letter, written on the company's letter and stating the address of the company and the applicant's job description is required from the employing company in Argentina. A copy of your employment contract which determines the terms of employment and signed by both the employer and the employee is  to be submitted. A proof from your employer stating that there was no Argentine willing and available to take up the job before you were offered the job should be submitted to the embassy/consulate. Applicants of this visa who do not have the right qualification that matches the job they have been offered may not be issued this visa. Proof from your employer that you will not be paid below the country's minimum wage should be submitted to the embassy/consulate. If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate and a notarized consent signed by both parents must be provided. A medical report from your local doctor stating that you are in good health should be submitted. All applicants are to appear in person for their interview at the embassy/consulate.

This visa is for Kenyans who intend to seek medical treatment in Argentina. A letter from the health facility in Argentina confirming that you are to be admitted for treatment and the duration of the treatment is to be sent to the embassy. A local report from your doctor stating your medical condition and the reason the treatment will be best gotten in the Argentina should also be submitted. All the documents must be written or translated to Spanish with the institution's letterhead and signed by the person in charge. If you are employed, a letter from your employer stating the allowance of your leave is required. Your status in the company and the duration of your employment should also be stated in the letter. Applicants are required to submit a document which shows that they have the incentive of returning to their country upon the completion of the treatment. Minors are expected to submit a copy of their birth certificate and a letter of consent from the parents if they are traveling with one or none of their parents. Proof that you have the financial means to cover the medical bill is to be submitted by applicant. Proof of payment of visa application fee should be presented during the application process.

Kenyan students who want to study in any of the institutions in Argentina are the eligible candidates for this visa. Students who intend to pursue non formal studies, student exchange programs and partial studies lasting no more than 90 days will be given a tourist visa. A letter of acceptance from the institution you have been admitted into should be submitted to the embassy/consulate. This letter should be written on the institution's letterhead and signed by the head of the institution. Applicants are to provide  a   criminal record which must be translated to Spanish and authenticated by the Argentine embassy or consulate. Proof of payment of part of the total tuition fee is to be submitted. Kenyan students are allowed to work part-time for 20 hours when school is in session and full-time when school is on break. Applicants should present certificates and transcripts from previously attended schools.  A proof of financial sufficiency covering the applicant's stay and study expenses for the duration of study is essential. For applicants below 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be submitted along with a letter of consent signed by both parents. Receipt of paid visa application fee should be provided. All the documents submitted by applicants should be written or translated to Spanish. Applicants should note that the visa application interview is done physically, they should thus prepare accordingly.

The Transit Visa is issued to Kenyans making stopovers in Argentina. With this visa, foreigners can board a connecting flight from an airport in Argentina to the destination country. This visa also allows its holders to transit through a port in Argentina to a third destination. The visa and other entry permits to the destination country are required. The transit visa has a validity of 48 hours. Flight ticket to your destination country should be submitted. Holders of this visa are not allowed to work while they are in the country.
