This visa is issued to Kenyans who intend to travel to Argentina for recreation, leisure or vacation purposes.  Kenyans visiting friends and family in Argentina are also eligible for this visa. The Argentine tourist visa are usually short term. The tourist visa is usually valid from between 30-90 days and its processing is between 3-5 days. Applicants who are travelling to Argentina to visit friends and family are required to submit an invitation letter stating the home address, telephone number and a valid means of identification of the host. All invitation letters are to be written in Spanish. An international passport with a validity of not less than six months should be submitted. Applicants are required to submit 2 copies of a 4*4 cm dimension passport photograph.  Applicants are advised to apply at least 45 days before their proposed journey.  Applicants are advised to refrain from making irrevocable travel plans until the visa has been issued. The interview process is done physically so applicants should prepare ahead. Applicants should provide proof of accommodation or hotel reservation for the period of time they intend to spend in Argentina. A proof of immigration status and round trip reservation is required.   Applicants of these visa are not permitted to carry out any form of business activity while in Argentina. Proof of financial sufficiency either through bank statement or any other acceptable means is to be submitted by the applicant. Employed applicants require a letter from their employer in Kenya confirming the details and duration of your employment as well as remuneration details. Applicants who are self-employed should present a copy of their certificate of business registration and last tax return. Non Kenyan citizens must provide a copy of their stay permit in Kenya. For children, the original copy of their birth certificate is required, as well as, a consent letter signed by both the parents written in or translated to Spanish. Holders of this visa cannot study in any of the country's institution of learning. This visa is issued to Kenyans who intend to participate in short business activities during their time in Argentina. Applicants of these visa may negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner companies in the country. Holders of this visa are also allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits. The host company in Argentina must be registered with the National Registry of Petitioners on behalf of Foreign Applicants ( RENURE ) of the National Directorate of Migration.  Applicants are advised to make their application at least 45 days before departure date. The visa processing time takes about 5-7 working days and has a 90 days validity. A letter of invitation from your business partner in Argentina stating the purpose and duration of your visit to the country is to be submitted to the embassy/consulate. This visa allows Kenyans to travel to Argentina for paid employment. Kenyans applying for this visa should ensure they have been offered a job in Argentina before initiating the application process. A letter, written on the company's letter and stating the address of the company and the applicant's job description is required from the employing company in Argentina. Students who intend to pursue non formal studies, student exchange programs and partial studies lasting no more than 90 days will be given a tourist visa.
