This visa type can also be applied for by foreigners who have been invited to Yemen by their friends and relatives. Applicants visiting their friends and relatives in the country should provide a letter of invitation from their host. The letter should introduce the applicant and state the relationship between the applicant and the host. Foreigners vacationing in Yemen are free to attend festivals and events of their choice. If the applicant is employed, a letter from the applicant’s employer should be provided. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and addressed to the Embassy in Yemen. The Business Visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Yemen for business purposes. Kenyans can negotiate and sign business contracts during business meetings with their partners in the country. Foreigners who intend to attend trade fairs, business summits and conferences in the country are free to do so. Proof of pre-registration of the conference to be attended by the applicant of this visa should be provided. A letter from the applicant’s employer is required. The letter should introduce the applicant, state the job position of the applicant, and state the duration of the business leave. An official letter of invitation from the host company should be provided. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and signed by an authorized signatory in the country. The full name of the applicants, passport details, and the duration and the purpose of the visit should be clearly stated in the letter. The business letter provided should state whether the finances of the applicant in the country would be taken up by the host company or the sponsoring company. Proof of previous business dealings between the two companies should be provided, if any. Foreigners in Yemen on this visa are not allowed to receive payments for the services they render.
