The Tourist Visa is issued to Kenyans who have the intention of visiting Equatorial Guinea for the purpose of leisure and tourism. Foreigners who have been invited to the country by their friends and relatives can also visit the country using this visa. If you have been invited to the country by your friend or relative living in Equatorial Guinea, a letter of invitation from the host is required. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host. Kenyans in Equatorial Guinea are free to attend festivals and events of their choice. A passport with a minimum validity of six months from date of departure should be submitted by the applicant. The tourist visa is valid for 60 days but can be extended to 90 days on request. A duly filled and signed visa application form is required. Employed applicants should provide a letter from their employer confirming their leave. The letter should state the duration of the applicant’s visit to the country. Minors should ensure they provide the original copy of their birth certificate. I the minor will be traveling without supervision, a notarized consent signed by both their parents is required. Proof of the incentive of returning to Kenya is required. A receipt that shows that payment has been made for visa application should be submitted.
