Kenyans travelling for recreation, sightseeing, and relaxation are the applicants of this visa. Applicants on a Schengen visa can visit Belgium as well as  attend festivals and events during the visit. The Schengen visa allows for a barrier-free travel between all its member states. However, Applicants for the visa through the Belgian embassy are to provide information on the duration of stay in Belgium and possible visit to other Schengen regions through the Belgian city at the point of interview. The Belgium tourist visa is issued to applicant  who intend to spend not more than 90 days in Belgium. Applicants international passport with a validity of not less than six months is required. With this visa, you cannot be a student in one of the schools in the country. 3 (4*4 cm) recent passport sized photograph of  (not older than 6 months) is to be submitted. Applicants  are to submit a valid Schengen- approved travel insurance with a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance. If you are retired, a pension statement from the last 6 months should be presented. Proof of  applicants' clean criminal record should be submitted. A letter of invitation containing details of your host in Belgium should be submitted.  A letter from your current employer in Kenya confirming your leave of absence and the period of absence is required. Applicants who are not citizens of Kenya are required to present a copy of their Kenyan stay permit. Original copy of minors’ birth certificate is required. A signed notarized parental authorization is required for minors' not travelling with their parents. A document that shows that you have the incentive of returning to Kenya is required. Proof of payment of visa application fees is required. Holders of this visa are not eligible for paid employment during their stay in the country. During your time in the country, you are not allowed to seek public funds.

This visa allows Kenyans to perform business activities in Belgium. Business meetings  can be held in any part of the country with this visa.  Belgian business visa has a validity period of not more than 90 days. Two recent passport sized photograph  taken within the last 3 months should be submitted.  An international passport with a validity of not less than 3 months to the proposed date of departure should be submitted. Applicants are to submit a proof of travel insurance with a minimum  coverage of 30,000 euros. A multiple entry permit is recommended for applicants of the business visa. Original copy of memorandum and article of association of the Belgian company should be submitted. A copy of the business registration and trade licence should be submitted to the embassy. Applicants are advised to make their application at least 45 days before the date of departure. Applicants are to submit an invitation letter from the host company in Belgium. The address of the company and the date of  visit should be clearly stated in the letter. If the Belgian company is going to be responsible for your expenses in the country, it should be clearly stated in the letter. A letter from your employer confirming the purpose and the duration of your stay in Belgium is required.  Proof of previous business dealings with the company should be provided if any. Original copy of memorandum and article of association of the Belgian company should be submitted. Trade license of the company should be provided. This visa allows Kenyans to receive medical attention in Belgium. A medical report issued by a hospital in Kenya describing your ailment and the reason it is best treated in Belgium should be submitted. A recent  passport sized photogragh which must not be older than 3 months should be submitted. Applicants are to show proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros.  An official confirmation of the appointment of treatment by the medical institution in Belgium should be submitted. This confirmation should be accompanied by the likely duration of  treatment. Certificate of employment from your employer in Kenya including information on leave of absence must be submitted. Proof that the applicant has sufficient financial means to pay for medical bills and other expenses that may arise throughout their treatment should be submitted. Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate. A document of consent duly signed by both parents of a minor travelling alone,  should be provided. The student visa is for applicants who aim to study in one of the schools in Belgium. Applicants should ensure notification of admission  before applying for this visa. As an international student, you’ll need to apply for a national long-stay visa   (D  visa), which allows you to stay longer than 90 days in Belgium. Applicants are to provide proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros for their stay. A medical certificate stating you don’t carry any diseases that may endanger public health   (such  as TB, diseases that require quarantine and other infectious diseases) is also required. An enrollment certificate allowing attendance of courses in Belgium is required. Certificates and transcripts from previously attended schools should be provided. Foreign students in Belgium can work part-time when school is in session and full-time when the school is on break. This visa can be extended to cover the duration of your study in the country. This visa is for diplomats visiting Belgium for official purposes. A diplomatic note containing your status in Government, as well as the purpose and duration of your visit is required from the Kenyan Government.
