Kenyans who apply for the Tourist Visa are those who intend traveling to Azerbaijan for sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation purposes. Applicants of this visa can visit friends and relatives Azerbaijan. Holders of this visa can also attend events and festivals taking place in the country while they are there. Kenyans are not eligible to get the Azerbaijan tourist E-visa (Electronic visa). A letter of invitation containing the valid home address and telephone number of your host is required if you are visiting someone in Azerbaijan. All foreigners visiting Azerbaijan for more than 10 days have to register with State Migration Service of Azerbaijan and this has to be done within the first 9 days after entering the territory of Azerbaijan.  Applicant of the tourist visa are to submit an official Letter of Invitation (LOI) from a travel agency licensed by Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The Azerbaijan tourist visa is issued to Kenyans as a Single entry visa. If your host will be financially responsible for you in the country, it should be stated in the letter of invitation. This visa enables travelers to negotiate and sign business contracts with their partner company in the country. Holders of this visa are also allowed to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits. The Azerbaijan tourist visa is issued on a single ,double or multiple entry and a pplicants must indicate if they would be needing a single,double or multiple entry when applying for this visa. The multi entry visa allows a stay of 180 days with a processing time of 5-7 days. The certificate of registration for conferences that would be attended by applicants should be submitted if they intend attending conferences. An invitation letter from the company in Azerbaijan written with the company’s letterhead is required to be submitted during visa application. The letter should state the duration and purpose of your visit to the country. The company in Azerbaijan should state in the letter if it will be financially responsible for the applicant during his stay in the country. Kenyans applying for the Work Visa intend to take up paid employment in Azerbaijan. Applicants of this visa should ensure that they have been given employment in Azerbaijan before initiating the visa application process. A letter confirming the applicant's employment in Azerbaijan should be presented. This letter should state the position you have been employed into and the address of the company. This visa allows Kenyans to stay in Azerbaijan for a short period of time. Applicants of this visa are those with the intention of transiting through Azerbaijan to their destination country.
