The tourist visa is eligible for Kenyans going to Niger for short visits, vacations or adventures. This visa can also serve as the Visitor Visa. Foreigners who have been invited to Niger by their friends and relative are eligible for this visa. You need a tourist visa to enter Niger, but it is also possible for you to get visa on arrival. The following documentation must be provided; - Three identical 35mm x 45mm passport-sized photograph s. - A valid passport with at least one blank page - Three filled out and signed visa application. A letter of invitation from your host is required if you are visiting someone in Niger. The letter should introduce the applicant and also state the relationship between the applicant and the host. Proof of accommodation bookings must be provided if the applicant isn't staying with friends or relatives. If there are events and festivals in the country the applicant of this visa would like to attend, he/she can do so on this visa. A letter from the applicant’s employer in Kenya is required. The letter should contain the name and job position of the applicant. It should be written on the company’s letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Niger. This visa does not allow foreigners to take up paid or unpaid employment while they are in the country. If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate is required. If you are traveling without supervision, a notarized consent signed by both your parents should be provided. Traveling from Kenya to Niger and from Niger back to Kenya is not regarded as transit. Foreigners cannot be granted an extension to this visa. Kenyans should ensure they leave the country before the expiry of the visa.
