Those who have the intention of meeting family and friends in the country are eligible for this visa Among the documents required for Australian tourist visa, an invitation letter from your host is required for those with the intention of visiting someone. Information on the letter should include the home address and telephone number of the host. Holders of this visa are not allowed to study while in the country. Events and festivals can be attended by Kenyans while they are in Australia with this visa. The Australian tourist visa usually has a validity of either 3,6 or 12 months. Persons travelling on a family stream should ensure that their sponsor pays a security bond. The Australia tourist visa can either be a single or multiple entry visa. Confirmation of whether your tourist visa is a single or multiple entry visa can be seen on your visa grant paper. The visitor's visa cannot be extended. Other types of visas can however be applied for. Applicants are to show proof that they are free from tuberculosis and yellow fever.
