Tourist Visa from Kenya to Italy Description

  • This visa allows Kenyans to visit Italy for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation, and recreation.
  • With this visa, foreigners may also visit friends and relatives in the country.
  • Those visiting friends and relatives in Italy require an invitation letter from their host. The letter should have the home address and telephone number of their host in the country.
  • Applicants passport that has a validity of 6 months from the date of  departure should be submitted.
  • Holders of this visa are prohibited from enrolling in one of the institutions of learning to take up a course of study.
  • You can attend events and festivals in the country with this visa.
  • If you are employed, a letter from your employer in Kenya is required. The letter should state that your employer is aware of your leave.
  • travel insurance that has a minimum value of 30,000 euroes should be submitted.
  • proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted.
  • Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted.
  • A copy of the applicants travel itinerary  with flight dates and tickets.
  • If you are not a Kenyan, you are required to present a copy of your Kenyan stay permit during the visa application process.
  • Original copy of minors’ birth certificate is required. If they are not traveling with their parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided.
  • A document that shows that you have the incentive of returning to Kenya is required.
  • Applicants should ensure they have the receipt of paid visa application fees.

Tourist Visa from Kenya to Italy Requirements

  • Original Kenyan passport which is valid for 6 months from the intended date of exit from the country. The passport should have two blank pages for a stamp and to affix the visa.
  • Duly completed visa application form. The application form should be signed and stamped where necessary.
  • Two passport-sized photographs taken with a white background which follows the visa application specification. The photograph must not be older than 6 months from the time of application.
  • Original and an extra copy of bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa. This is proof that you have sufficient funds to cater for yourself while you are in the country.
  • Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
  • Duly confirmed hotel reservation for the duration of your stay in France.
