Student Visa from Kenya to Malta Description


  • This visa is exclusive for students who have been accepted into a school in Malta.
  • An original passport valid for at  least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Malta is required.
  • Two recent 2 x 2' passport photographs are required. These must be in color, taken in front view and against a white background.
  • If you initiate the visa application process without confirmation of your admission, the visa will not be issued to you.
  • A letter of acceptance into the school you applied to study is required before you will be issued this visa.
  • Certificates and transcripts from the previous schools you have attended should be provided.
  • You are required to provide a student status letter from the faculty of your university.
  • Two copies of flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency showing round travel trip to Malta must be generated.
  • An original copy of a proof of medical insurance to cover the duration of your visit must be provided.
  • You are required to provide an evidence of sufficient funds to support stay and studies in Malta; such as your most recent bank statement or an international credit card statement.
  • Students can take up paid employment during their time in the country as long as it does not interfere with their study.
  • This visa can be extended to cover the duration of the study.
  • If you are under the age of 18, you are required to have the original copy of your birth certificate. If you are not traveling with your parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided.
  • You are not allowed to seek public funds while you are in the country.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
  • Applicants who do not have a clean medical record may not be issued this visa.

Student Visa from Kenya to Malta Requirements

  • Kenyan passport valid for at least three months after the date of exit from the country. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
  • Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification of a visa application.
  • Bank statement from the last three months prior to the period of visa application. This serves as proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Return flight ticket.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • Proof of civil status.
