A medical report issued by a hospital in Kenya describing your ailment and the reason it is best treated in Cyprus is required.
A document which confirms the appointment of treatment by the medical institution in Cyprus should be submitted. The confirmation should be accompanied by the duration of the treatment.
Certificate of employment from your employer in Kenya including information on leave of absence must be submitted.
Proof that the applicant has sufficient financial means to pay for medical bills and other expenses that may arise throughout their treatment.
Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling alone or with one of their parents, a document of consent which is signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
Holders of this visa are not allowed to work while in the country.
You are expected to leave the country after your treatment has been completed.
Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
Before you will be issued this visa, you must have a clean criminal record.
Medical Visa from Kenya to Cyprus Requirements
Kenyan passport which will be valid 6 months after exiting from the country. It is necessary for the passport to have two blank pages and must not be older than 10 years.
Visa application form correctly completed and signed by the applicant.
Two passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The photograph must be at least 3 months old from the time of application.
Original bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa.
Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
