Kenyan diplomats who apply for this visa intend to foster the relationship between the government of Kenya and Greece.
A diplomatic note from the Kenyan government is required. The note should contain your status in government, as well as the duration, and purpose of your visit to the country.
An original invitation letter from the Greek government should be provided.
The main applicants of the official visa are Heads of States, Consular officers, ministers, and African Union representatives.
As a diplomat, if the purpose of your visit to the country is non-official you are not entitled to this visa. Only Heads of States can visit the country for whatever purpose with the official visa.
If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be presented during the visa application process.
Diplomats may attend conferences and meetings while are in the country.
Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up a course of study or be paid for services they render in the country.
Diplomats are required to present a valid means of identification.
Official Visa from Kenya to Greece Requirements
Kenyan passport which will be valid 6 months after exiting from the country. The passport must contain two blank pages.
Duly completed visa application form. The form should carry the necessary signatures and stamps.
Two passport-sized photographs taken with a white background which follows the visa application specification.
The photograph must be at least 3 months old from the time of application.
Original bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa. Salary payslips may be used in place of the bank statement.
A copy of the applicants travel itinerary should be submitted.
Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
