Tourist Visa from Kenya to Bosnia and Herzegovina Description

  • This visa is issued to Kenyans intending to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
  • Bearers of this visa allows foreigners to attend events and festivals in the country.
  • Applicants are advised to be cautious  whilst in Bosnia due to increased activities of terrorism and  explosion of landmines.
  • Kenyans traveling with funds exceeding 10,000 euros or equivalent must declare it on arrival.
  • Applicants are required to submit a police report from their local police department certifying they have no criminal record issued within 6 months of the application
  • Applicants intending to exceed the 90 days validity period must apply for a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP).
  • Documentation and Application for the TRP (Temporary Residence Permit) must be done on arrival.
  • Applicants are  to provide proof of travel insurance or an equivalent of 30,000usd.
  •  Applicants are advised to verify  ticket reservations with airlines before travel.
  • A letter stating the relationship and with the host as well as the contact address should be provided. 
  • Self-employed applicants are required to present a letter from their employer confirming their employment. The letter should state the name of the company and the duration of the leave.
  • Applicants should ensure they have a copy of their Kenyan resident permit.
  • Minors should ensure they have the original copy of their birth certificate bearing both names of the parent. If the minor is traveling alone or with one of his/her parent, a notarized consent signed by both the parents is required.
  • A document which shows you have the incentive of returning to your country at the end of your time in the country.
  • Receipt of paid visa application form is required.
  • Kenyans travelling on this visa are not permitted to engage in business activities.
  • Try not to overstay the duration of your visa.

Tourist Visa from Kenya to Bosnia and Herzegovina Requirements

  • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date with 2 blank pages for visa stamp.

  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.

  • For minor applicants, the parents or legal guardians are required to sign the application form.

  • Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken in white background.

  • Travel document must be complete.

  • Proof of financial capability.

  • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations.

  • Copy of return flight ticket.

  • Documentation showing applicants' ties to home country.

  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

  • Medical insurance that covers the entire duration of stay.

  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

  • Copy of travel itinerary.
