This visa is for business travelers who have the intention of engaging in business activities in Vietnam.
Business travelers during meetings with their partners in Vietnam can negotiate and sign business contracts.
This visa also allows foreigners to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits in the country.
Travelers with the intention of attending conferences while they are in the country are expected to have pre-registered for the conference beforehand. Proof of this registration will be asked at the consulate.
An official letter of invitation from the company in Vietnam, written on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter should state both the duration and purpose of your visit.
A letter from your employer stating approval of your business leave is required. The letter should also state your job position and the duration of your leave.
If the responsibility of your finances would be taken up by either the company you are meeting with or your employer, this should be clearly stated in the letter.
Kenyans on a business visa are not permitted to receive payment for the services they render while they are in the country.
You also cannot take up a course to study in one of the institutions of learning in Vietnam.
If you are traveling with a minor, the unabridged original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required.
Applicants are expected to be vaccinated against yellow fever before traveling to Vietnam.

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
Duly completed and signed visa application form.
If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
Passport-size photographs (4 x 6 cm) in white background.
