- The Business Visa enables Kenyans to visit Nicaragua to improve and foster the business relationship between the applicant’s company and the host company.
- Original, signed passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Nicaragua, and with at least one blank passport page.
- During business meetings between partners in Nicaragua, negotiation and signing of business contracts can be done.
- Foreigners in the country on this visa are allowed to attend business summits, trade fairs, and conferences.
- If one of the activities you plan to engage in during your time in Nicaragua is to attend conferences, you are advised to register for the conference before traveling to Nicaragua.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer confirming allowance and awareness of business leave is required. The letter should state the job position of the applicant and also state the duration and the purpose of the applicant’s visit.
- An official letter of invitation from the host company in Nicaragua written on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter should state the job position of the applicant and also the duration and the purpose of the visit.
- The letter must have the following requirements;
- The letter must be addressed to the embassy of Nicaragua.
- Nature of business to be stated.
- The letter should request multiple-entry visa if required.
- The letter must include name and address of reference to be visited.
- Certificate of Business Registration of the host company should be provided.
- Proof of your Kenyan status must be provided. For example, your birth certificate.
- The business letter must state whether the applicant’s employer or the host company in Nicaragua will take up the responsibility of the applicant’s finances.
- Proof of previous business transactions between the applicant’s company and the host company in Nicaragua should be provided if any.
- The receipt that shows that visa application fee has been paid in full is required.
- Proof that you will return back to Kenya when your stay expires is required. This should come in form of a copy of your round trip ticket or a letter of confirmation from your travel agent.
- Minors are expected to be in possession of the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate, as well as, a letter of consent signed by both their parents.
