Business Visa from Kenya to Malta Description

  • Foreigners who intend to engage in business activities in Malta are eligible for this visa.
  • During your time in the country, you can meet with your business partners to negotiate and sign contracts.
  • You must provide a passport that is valid for at least three months longer than the intended period of stay.
  • You can attend conferences and trade fairs during your time in the country.
  • A letter of invitation from the company you are meeting up with should be provided. The company’s address, the purpose of your visit and how long you will be in the country should be stated in the letter.
  • If you are self employed, you are required to provide a covering letter. This letter must be on your company's letterhead.
  • If the travel expenses would be covered by the employer or the business partner in Malta, it should be clearly stated in the letter.
  • Confirmation of business leave by your employer should be provided as a letter which explains this. Your position in the company and the duration of your trip to Malta should be also stated.
  • Proof of previous dealings with the company you are meeting up with in Malta should be provided, if any.
  • A travel itinerary must also be provided. It must include date of arrival and departure, and also check-in and check-out dates at the hotels you are staying in.
  • Certificate of business registration of your partner company in Malta is required, and also your company in Kenya.
  • You are required to provide your salary slip for the last three months (if you are employed).
  • You must provide income tax papers from the last three years.
  • While on this visa, you are not permitted to be paid for the services you render in the country.
  • Foreigners in the country with this visa cannot seek public funds.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
  • Kenyans are expected to exit the country at the expiration of their visa.

Business Visa from Kenya to Malta Requirements

  • Kenyan passport valid for at least three months after the date of exit from the country. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
  • Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification of a visa application.
  • Bank statement from the last three months prior to the period of visa application. This serves as proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
  • Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Return flight ticket.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • Proof of civil status.
