This visa is for students who have been accepted to study in one of the institutions in the country.
Applicants should ensure they have been accepted into the institution of their choice before applying for this visa.
Letter of admission from the institution you have been accepted into is required. This is proof that you can attend lectures and write exams at the school.
Certificates and transcripts of the schools you previously attended is a necessary document to be provided during the visa application.
If you are not a Kenyan, you are required to possess a copy of your stay permit in Kenya.
Foreign students are allowed to work part-time when school is in session and full-time when school is on break.
The duration of this visa can be extended to cover the duration of their study.
Underage Kenyans should have the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are not traveling with their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents should be provided.
You are not allowed to seek public funds while you are in the country.
Receipt of paid visa application form is required.
If you are not a citizen of Kenya, a copy of the stay permit in Kenya should be provided during the visa application process.

Kenyan passport valid for at least three months after the date of exit from the country. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification of a visa application.
Bank statement from the last three months prior to the period of visa application. This serves as proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in the country.
Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
Return flight ticket.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Proof of civil status.
