Business Visa from Kenya to Netherlands Description

  • The Netherlands business visa enables Kenyans to visit the Netherlands for business.
  • An original passport not older than 10 years with at least a validity of three months beyond the intended period of stay is required.
  • While you are in the country with this visa, you can meet up with business partners to negotiate and sign contracts.
  • You can also attend trade fairs, conferences and business summits while you are in the country.
  • An invitation letter from the company you will be visiting in the Netherlands should be provided. The address of the company and the dates of your visit should be stated in the letter.
  • If the company you are meeting with in the Netherlands will be responsible for your expenses while you are in the country, this should be stated in the letter.
  • A letter from your employer in Kenya stating awareness and allowance of your business travel is important.
  • If the applicant of this visa has had previous business dealings with the company they are visiting, proof of this must be provided.
  • You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa. Holders of the Netherlands business visa also cannot seek public funds.
  • The Netherlands Business visa is a multiple-entry visa, valid from your exact arrival date for a maximum of 90 days within a period of 180 days.
  • Kenyans are expected to exit the country at the expiration of their visa.
  • Before this visa is issued, it must have been proven that the applicant does not pose a threat to public order, public health, domestic security or international relations.
  • Travelers should be able to prove they have enough funds to comfortably spend at least 34 euros per day while in the Netherlands.

Business Visa from Kenya to Netherlands Requirements

  • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
  • Passport-size photographs (35 x 45mm) taken in white background.
  • Travel document.
  • Proof of financial support.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country. 
  • Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
