Business Visa from Kenya to Denmark Description

  • The Denmark Schengen business visa is for foreign nationals who are visiting Denmark to partake in business activities.
  • During your time in the country, you can meet up with business partners to negotiate and sign contracts.
  • Trade fairs, conferences, and business summits can be attended by holders of this visa.
  • A letter of invitation from the company you are meeting up with should be provided. The purpose and duration of your visit should be stated in the letter.
  • If the company you are meeting with will be responsible for your expenses while you are in the country, it should be stated in the letter.
  • Your employer should provide a letter stating that he/she is aware of your business leave. The purpose of your visit to the country, the duration, and purpose of your visit should be clearly stated.
  • Proof of prior business dealings between you and the company should be provided if any.
  • The original certified copy of their memorandum and article of association certificate, trade license, proprietorship/partnership document should be submitted.
  • Certificate of business registration of your business partner in Denmark is required.
  • For private business owners, a copy of their Income Tax Return(ITR) form or certificate of income tax deducted from salary should be submitted.
  • Holders of this visa cannot be paid for the services they render while they are in the country.
  • Applicants are to submit approved health insurance that covers their duration of stay or its equivalent of 30,000 euros.
  • proof of hotel reservation or accommodation that covers applicants duration of stay should be submitted.
  • Kenyans are not permitted to seek public funds or work with a business visa. To work in Denmark, You must have a Denmark work visa and a work permit that allows foreign nationals to work in Denmark. 
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee is required to be submitted.
  • Kenyans are expected to exit the country at the expiry of their visa.
  • All applicants are to appear in person for the submission of their visa application.
  • Only documents which are in English or Danish will be accepted.

Business Visa from Kenya to Denmark Requirements

  • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.

  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.

  • The parents/legal guardians have to sign the form if the applicant is a minor.

  • Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken on a white background.

  • Travel document must be completely provided.

  • Proof of financial capability.

  • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations.

  • Copy of return flight ticket.

  • Documentation showing applicants' ties to home country.

  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

  • Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.

  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

  • Copy of travel itinerary.

  • Applicants are to provide a proof of the paid visa application fee.
