The Student Visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Brazil to attend regular courses or participate in exchange or internship programmes.
Holders of this visa are allowed to undertake paid legal employment in Brazil compatible with their course load.
Applicants are to provide proof of financial capacity that covers their duration of stay.
Applicants are to provide proof of payment of tuition fee.
Multiple entries can be issued on this visa.
Applicants are to submit proof of health insurance.
Kenyans applying for this visa are required to present a copy of their stay permit.
If your study programme is less than 90 days, you must apply for the visitor’s visa instead.
A letter of acceptance from the academic institution you have been accepted to is required. The letter should outline the nature of the study being undertaken in Brazil.
Police Certificate issued within the last three months, certifying the absence of criminal record should be provided.
Minors are required to have their original birth certificate accompanied with a letter of consent signed by both their parents.
A receipt that shows payment of visa application fee has been made.

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended date containing 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
Duly completed and signed visa application form.
If the applicant is a minor, the parents or legal guardians have to sign the form.
