The student visa allows Kenyans who have been accepted into one of the institutions in the country to study.
Before you start the visa application process, ensure that you have been accepted into the institution you applied to.
Letter of acceptance from the institution of your choice written on the institution’s letterhead is required. This serves as a proof that you are eligible to attend classes and write exams.
Applicants are expected to have the certificates and transcripts from the previously attended schools.
A proof of part or full payment of tuition fee should be submitted by the applicant.
International students can work part-time for up to 20 hours per week.
An extension of this visa is granted to cover the duration of your study.
Applicants are to submit proof of financial sufficiency that will cover the study and stay expenses.
A proof of medical fitness that proves that the applicant is free from all communicable disease must be provided.
Visa application of previously convicted applicants may be rejected.

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
Duly completed and signed visa application form.
The parents/legal guardians have to sign the form if the applicant is a minor.
Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken on a white background.
Travel document must be completely provided.
Proof of financial capability.
Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations.
Copy of return flight ticket.
Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country.
A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.
Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
Copy of travel itinerary.
