Transit Visa from Kenya to Malta Description

This visa allows foreigners to make short stops in Malta.
You are required to have an original passport of at least three months beyond your return.
Two recent passport photographs must be provided.
Foreigners can transit through Malta to their destination country with this visa.
Holders of this visa are required to possess the visa and flight ticket of their destination country.
Proof of flight reservation must be provided; this includes confirmation of onward journey to the final destination.
If you are under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be provided.
Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
You are not allowed to study or take up paid or unpaid employment during your time in the country.
The Malta transit visa is valid for 24 hours.
You are required to exit the country before the expiry of your visa.
This visa cannot be extended.

Kenyan passport valid for at least three months after the date of exit from the country. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The passport should follow the photo specification of a visa application.
Bank statement from the last three months prior to the period of visa application. This serves as proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in the country.
Valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
Return flight ticket.
Copy of travel itinerary.
Proof of civil status.
