Journalist Visa from Kenya to Mongolia Description

Eligible applicants of this visa are members of media organizations in Kenya.
Kenyans who are applying for this visa are visiting Mongolia for the purpose of media reporting.
This visa can be extended for 30 days. The extension can only be granted in a six-month interval, meaning you can only apply for extension after six months of stay.
An invitation letter from the media company you will be working with in Mongolia is required. The letter should clearly state the duration and purpose of your visit.
A valid means of identification of applicant is required. For example your journalist identity card.
This visa does not allow applicants to take up permanent residence in the country.
To avoid longer processing time, travelers are obliged to start their application well in advance.
Whether this visa is approved or not, the processing fee paid is non-refundable.

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
A visa application form that is completed and signed.
If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
Passport-size photographs (2 x 2'') taken in white background.
Complete travel documents.
Proof of financial capability.
Proof of accommodation.
Copy of onward and return flight ticket.
Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country, e.g. birth certificate or marriage certificate.
A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
Medical insurance to cover medical expenses during trip.
Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
Copy of travel itinerary.
