Tourist Visa is issued to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for a short period of time.
Applicants of this visa may intend visiting the country for tourism, business meetings or study in a Hebrew uplan.
Holders of this visa can visit friends and relatives living in Israel with this visa.
Applicants who have been invited for visitation by their host are required to present a letter of invitation from their host in Israel. Home address, telephone number, and a valid means of identification of the host should be included in the letter.
This visa does not allow applicants to take up full-time study. You can only study in Hebrew uplan.
Tourists who want an extension to this visa may submit an application at one of the regional administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.
If you are employed, a letter from your employer stating the length of your leave should be provided. The letter should also state continuing employment after the period of your leave.
Applicants who are visiting Israel for business purposes should present a letter from the company they are visiting in Israel. Information in the letter should include the duration of your trip and the purpose of your visit.
Certificate of business registration of the company is required.
Minors will not be granted this visa without the written consent of both parents signed by an attorney. Original copy of minor’s birth certificate should also be presented.
A document showing that the applicant has the incentive of returning to Kenya should be submitted.
Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
A person who enters Israel on a Tourist Visa is not allowed to work.
Applicants are expected to abide by all the rules guiding this visa.
