Tourist Visa from Kenya to Canada

The tourist visa allows Kenyans to visit Canada for tourism.

You can also make business trips, attend conferences, educational, professional or business events whilst in the country with this visa type.

If you intend visiting friends and relatives in the country, you can also apply for this visa.

If you have a host in the country, a letter of invitation bearing the address and valid contact details from the host is required.

Bearers of this visa cannot enroll for any part-time or full-time courses.

Applicants of this visa should note that they cannot take up any forms of  employment whilst in the country.

A Canadian tourist visa is also known as Canada visitor visa or Canadian Temporary Resident Visa(TRV). 

The Canadian tourist visa is granted for a period of 60 days per stay.

Canadian tourist visas are of two types: single entry visa and multiple entry visa

An international passport with a validity of not less than six months should be submitted.

Applicants are required to submit 2 copies of a 4*4 cm dimension passport photograph.

 Applicants are advised to apply at least 45 days before their proposed journey.

You are required to present the receipt of paid visa application fee before you can be issued this visa.

A letter from the authorities in Kenya stating that you have a clean criminal record should be provided.

Evidence of employment and family ties which shows you have the intention of returning to Kenya after the duration of your trip.

It is necessary for travelers to do a medical checkup and ensure they are in a clean bill of health.

Holders of this visa can attend conferences, educational, professional or business events while they are in Canada.
