After several nights staying at The Marriott and The Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra (both of which were beautiful) we drove into Tutu to visit family for a funeral for a few nights and booked the Royal Lee's Hotel.
When the receptionist finally spoke to us she also was unable find our reservation.
She proceeded to ask my partner and I if we were going to be 2 men staying in a room together, to which we replied "yes."
Obviously we both felt that we were being persecuted and discriminated against as well as being taken advantage of for more money.
We declined his offer and decided to drive back to The Marriott in Accra which was fantastic.
