Business Visa from Kenya to Equatorial Guinea

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who are traveling to Equatorial Guinea for business purposes.
  • Kenyans can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners in the country.
  • Holders of this visa can attend conferences, business summits, and trade fairs while they are in the country.
  • Applicants intending  to attend conferences in the country should register for the conference before leaving Kenya.
  • A passport with a validity of six months from the proposed date of departure should be submitted.
  • Applicants are to fill, sign and submit the visa application form to the embassy of Equatorial Guinea.
  • A letter from the applicants' employer in Kenya, containing the details, and nature of the business of the to be conducted addressed to the Consulate of Equatorial Guinea is required. 
  • An invitation letter from the company in Equatorial Guinea should be provided. The letter should state the duration and purpose of the visit. Valid contact information of the company should be stated in the letter.
  • The letter must state whether the responsibility of the applicants' finances would be on the host company or the sponsoring company.
  • Proof of previous business dealings between the applicants' company and the host company is necessary.
  • A certificate of business  registration of the company in Equatorial Guinea should be submitted.
  • Proof of financial sufficiency through the duration of stay is required.
  • A proof of incentive of returning back to Kenya should be submitted by the applicant should be submitted.
  • A copy of travel itinerary or round trip reservation should be submitted.
  • A receipt that shows that visa application fee has been paid in full is required.
  • A document which shows that the applicant has the intention of returning to Kenya after the visa expires.
  • Applicants of this visa are required to be vaccinated against yellow fever before traveling to Equatorial Guinea.
  • Proof of clean criminal record is required.

Requirements:
  • Passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for necessary stamps.

  • Correctly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.

  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.

  • Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.

  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.

  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.

  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country.

  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

  • Proof of application fee payment.

  • Copy of return flight ticket.

  • Travel itinerary.

    Applicants are to note that Equatorial Guinea does not have an embassy in Kenya. All application can be made at the  Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Yaounde, Cameroon.
