Tourist Visa from Kenya to Equatorial Guinea

  • The Tourist Visa is issued to Kenyans who have the intention of visiting Equatorial Guinea for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
  • Foreigners who have been invited to the country by their friends and relatives can also visit the country using this visa.
  • If you have been invited to the country by your friend or relative living in Equatorial Guinea, a letter of invitation from the host is required. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host.
  • Kenyans in Equatorial Guinea are free to attend festivals and events of their choice.
  • A passport with a minimum validity of six months from date of departure should be submitted by the applicant.
  • The tourist visa is valid for 60 days but can be extended to 90 days on request.
  • A duly filled and signed visa application form is required.
  • Employed applicants should provide a letter from their employer confirming their leave. The letter should state the duration of the applicant’s visit to the country.
  • Minors should ensure they provide the original copy of their birth certificate. I the minor will be traveling without supervision, a notarized consent signed by both their parents is required.
  • Proof of the incentive of returning to Kenya is required.
  • A receipt that shows that payment has been made for visa application should be submitted.
  • Proof of sufficient funds which could be in  form of your bank account statements of the latest 3 months showing a minimum of  $2,000 in your account.
  • Applicants are required to tender a copy of a round trip ticket to your country of origin, showing entry and exit dates to/from Equatorial Guinea as well as the flight numbers.
  • Applicants are to submit a proof of hotel reservation or accommodation.
  • Foreigners are not allowed to receive payment for the services they render while they are in the country.
  • A copy of the International Certification of Vaccination for yellow fever should be provided.
  • Police report or Certificate of Good Conduct from the local police should be submitted during the visa application process.
Requirements:
  • Passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for necessary stamps.

  • Correctly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.

  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.

  • Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.

  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.

  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.

  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country.

  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

  • Proof of application fee payment.

  • Copy of return flight ticket.

  • Travel itinerary.

    Applicants are to note that Equatorial Guinea does not have an embassy in Kenya. All application can be made at the  Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Yaounde, Cameroon.
