Medical Visa from Kenya to Croatia

  • Kenyans seeking medical attention from a hospital in Croatia are the ones eligible for this visa.
  • Applicants are to provide a  letter drafted and signed within the last 3 months by the applicant's treating doctor in Kenya providing background information about current medical treatment and confirming the need of specific medical treatment to be provided in Croatia.
  • A medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Croatia, confirming the date of appointment as well as your medical situation is required.
  • If you are employed, you should provide proof that your employer is aware of your leave. This may be stated in a letter written with the company’s letterhead and signed by your employer.
  • A letter stating who will be financially responsible for the applicant during his medical stay in Croatia.
  • Retirees should have a pension statement from the last 6 months.
  • Proof of payment of medical fees should be provided.
  • Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling alone or with one of their parents, a document of consent which is signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
  • You are not allowed to work while you are in the country.
  • At the end of your treatment, you are expected to leave the country.
  • Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence.

Requirements:
    • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.

    • Duly completed and signed visa application form.

    • The parents/legal guardians have to sign the form if the applicant is a minor.

    • Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken on a white background.

    • Travel document must be completely provided.

    • Proof of financial capability.

    • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations.

    • Copy of return flight ticket.

    • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country.

    • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.

    • Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.

    • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.

    • Copy of travel itinerary.

    • Applicants are to provide a proof of the paid visa application fee.
