Student Visa from Kenya to Malta
- This visa is exclusive for students who have been accepted into a school in Malta.
- An original passport valid for at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Malta is required.
- Two recent 2 x 2' passport photographs are required. These must be in color, taken in front view and against a white background.
- If you initiate the visa application process without confirmation of your admission, the visa will not be issued to you.
- A letter of acceptance into the school you applied to study is required before you will be issued this visa.
- Certificates and transcripts from the previous schools you have attended should be provided.
- You are required to provide a student status letter from the faculty of your university.
- Two copies of flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency showing round travel trip to Malta must be generated.
- An original copy of a proof of medical insurance to cover the duration of your visit must be provided.
- You are required to provide an evidence of sufficient funds to support stay and studies in Malta; such as your most recent bank statement or an international credit card statement.
- Students can take up paid employment during their time in the country as long as it does not interfere with their study.
- This visa can be extended to cover the duration of the study.
- If you are under the age of 18, you are required to have the original copy of your birth certificate. If you are not traveling with your parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided.
- You are not allowed to seek public funds while you are in the country.
- Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
- Applicants who do not have a clean medical record may not be issued this visa.
