Transit Visa from Kenya to Iceland

This visa allows foreigners to make short stops in Iceland.
Foreigners can transit through Iceland to their destination country with this visa.
Holders of this visa are required to possess the visa and flight ticket of their destination country.
If you are under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be provided.
Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
You are not allowed to study or take up paid or unpaid employment during your time in the country.
The visa is valid for 24 hours.
You are required to exit the country before the expiry of your visa.
This visa cannot be extended.

Requirements:

Fully completed and signed visa application form
Two recently taken passport-size photographs (4.5x 3.5cm), both taken within the last three months.
A valid Kenyan passport not older than 7 years, with at least six months validity beyond the date you plan to leave Sweden.
A travel insurance policy with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros, for the whole Schengen territory, in case of any medical emergency such as illnesses, accidents and even repatriation in case of death.
Proof of accommodation.
Copy of return flight ticket.
Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country, e.g. verification from applicant’s employer.
A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
