Medical Visa from Kenya to Iceland
- The medical visa allows foreigners to visit Iceland to seek medical attention.
- A medical report from your local doctor should be provided. It should be accompanied by a document that states why the treatment is best gotten in Iceland.
- A medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Iceland, confirming the date of appointment as well as your medical situation is required.
- If you are employed, a letter from your employer stating that he/she is aware of your leave. The employer should state continuing employment after your treatment.
- Retirees should have a pension statement from the last 6 months.
- Proof of payment of medical fees should be provided.
- Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling alone or with one of their parents, a document of consent which is signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
- You are not allowed to work while you are in the country.
- At the end of your treatment, you are expected to leave the country.
- Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
