Medical Visa from Kenya to Belgium
- This visa allows Kenyans to receive medical attention in Belgium.
- A medical report issued by a hospital in Kenya describing your ailment and the reason it is best treated in Belgium should be submitted.
- A recent passport sized photogragh which must not be older than 3 months should be submitted.
- Applicants are to show proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros.
- An official confirmation of the appointment of treatment by the medical institution in Belgium should be submitted. This confirmation should be accompanied by the likely duration of treatment.
- Certificate of employment from your employer in Kenya including information on leave of absence must be submitted.
- Proof that the applicant has sufficient financial means to pay for medical bills and other expenses that may arise throughout their treatment should be submitted.
- Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate. A document of consent duly signed by both parents of a minor travelling alone, should be provided.
- This visa does not allow you to work whilst you are in the country.
- you are expected to leave the country at the completion of treatment.
- Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
- Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
- Before you will be issued this visa, you must have a clean criminal record.
