Medical Visa from Kenya to Greece
- Kenyans who intend applying for the medical visa seek medical attention in Greece.
- Your local physician should issue a referral which indicates your diagnosis. In this document, the reason you cannot be treated in Kenya should be stated.
- A medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Greece, confirming the date of appointment as well as your medical situation is required.
- A letter of employment from your employer in Kenya including information on leave of absence must be submitted.
- Proof that medical fees have been paid is required. This may be in form of receipt or pay slips that indicate payment to the hospital in Greece.
- Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling alone or with one of their parents, a document of consent which is signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
- This visa does not allow you to work while you are in the country.
- After your ailment has been completely treated, you are expected to leave the country.
- Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.
- Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
