Journalist Visa from Kenya to Ukraine

  • This visa is granted to applicants working in the media.
  • Journalists traveling to Ukraine may have the intention of covering a story or an event during their visit.
  • A letter from the Mass Media in Kenya with a request to issue a visa to the applicant traveling to Ukraine is required.
  • An invitation letter issued by the Kenyan branch of the company the applicant is representing in Ukraine with a request of issuance of this visa.
  • If the applicant of this visa is non-Kenyan, a copy of the applicant’s Kenyan stay permit is required.
  • If you are traveling with an underage child, the original copy of the child’s stay permit should be provided.
  • Applicants must provide a document which shows that they are in good health condition.
  • Foreigners should ensure they abide by the rules guiding this visa.
Requirements:
  • A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
  • Passport-size photographs (35 x 45 mm) taken in white background.
  • Travel document.
  • Proof of financial support.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country, e.g. verification from applicant’s employer.
  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
  • Medical Insurance.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
