Tourist Visa from Kenya to Mexico


  • The Mexico tourist visa allows foreigners to visit Mexico for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation and recreation.
  • Those with the intention of visiting friends and relatives in Mexico will also need this visa.
  • Your passport must have a validity of at least three months beyond your intended period of stay. If otherwise, you should consider getting your passport renewed before travelling.
  • An invitation letter from the friend or relative you intend to visit in the country is needed. The letter should have the valid home address and telephone number of your host.
  • During your time in the country, you are free to attend festivals and other social events.
  • Proof that you are financially capable to support yourself during your stay in Mexico must be provided. This is usually done by way of presenting bank or credit card statements.
  • You are expected to have at least USD 50 per day for your stay in Mexico.
  • A copy of your round-trip or tour ticket is required.
  • Applicants are required to present a letter from their current employer stating awareness of leave. Your position in the company, the term of your employment, and the duration of your leave should also be stated in the letter.
  • If you are under the age of 18, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be made available. Also, a letter of consent signed by both your parents is required if you will be traveling without your parents.
  • A document which shows that you have the incentive of returning to your country at the expiry of your visa should be submitted during the visa application process, e.g., proof of family ties or a stable job in the applicant's home country.
  • Evidence that the visa application fee has been paid is required.
  • Foreigners on this visa are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in the country.
  • Travelers are advised to be vaccinated against yellow fever and malaria before traveling to Mexico.
  • You are expected to leave Mexico at the end of your authorized stay. Overstaying your visa is an offense that comes with serious consequences. You may be fined or banned from entering Mexico.
