Student Visa from Kenya to Romania
- The student visa is for foreigners who intend to travel to Romania either for pre-graduate, graduate, or postgraduate studies or in view of obtaining academic degrees within the state or accredited private institutions.
- Foreigners who are trainees or who want to partake in the pupil exchange scheme or in an individual project may also apply for this visa.
- Kenyans who want to carry out activities of scientific research on the grounds of the endorsement of the Ministry of Research and Innovation and the General Inspectorate for Immigration.
- The visa allows Kenyans to enter the territory of Romania to apply at the Ministry of Internal Affairs – General Inspectorate for Immigration, for the extension of the right of temporary stay and for a residence permit.
- Proof of acceptance for studies from the Romanian Ministry of Education, attesting that the visa applicant will attend a full-time course of study at a state or private higher education institution.
- Applicant should present proof of tuition fee for at least one academic year.
- Students should have at least €500 per month
- Students who have been previously convicted will not be issued this visa.
- Proof of knowledge of the language of the study programme to be followed, with the exception of the preparatory year of Romanian language for foreign citizens.
- If you are under the age of 18, a notarized letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided.
