Business Visa from Kenya to Vietnam
- This visa is for business travelers who have the intention of engaging in business activities in Vietnam.
- Business travelers during meetings with their partners in Vietnam can negotiate and sign business contracts.
- This visa also allows foreigners to attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits in the country.
- Travelers with the intention of attending conferences while they are in the country are expected to have pre-registered for the conference beforehand. Proof of this registration will be asked at the consulate.
- An official letter of invitation from the company in Vietnam, written on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter should state both the duration and purpose of your visit.
- A letter from your employer stating approval of your business leave is required. The letter should also state your job position and the duration of your leave.
- If the responsibility of your finances would be taken up by either the company you are meeting with or your employer, this should be clearly stated in the letter.
- Kenyans on a business visa are not permitted to receive payment for the services they render while they are in the country.
- You also cannot take up a course to study in one of the institutions of learning in Vietnam.
- If you are traveling with a minor, the unabridged original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required.
- Applicants are expected to be vaccinated against yellow fever before traveling to Vietnam.
Requirements:
- A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
- Duly completed and signed visa application form.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
- Passport-size photographs (4 x 6 cm) in white background.
- Travel document.
- Proof of financial support
- Proof of accommodation
- Copy of return flight ticket
- Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country, e.g. verification from applicant’s employer.
- A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
- Medical Insurance.
- Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
- Copy of travel itinerary.
