- Foreigners traveling to Peru for business purposes need to secure a business visa.
- Holders of the Peru business visa can negotiate and sign business contracts while they are in the country. They can also engage in other business-related activities, such as attending conferences, summits and trade fairs.
- Unlike the tourist visa, the Peru business visa is a multiple-entry visa.
- A business introduction letter is required of the visa applicant.
- A letter of invitation from the host company must also be provided.
- This letter must include:
- Your full name, date of birth, nationality and intended dates of travel.
- The name of the host organization, their address and phone number.
- The purpose and nature of your visit in detail.
- Number of intended entries and length of validity of the visa.
- Copy of Kenyan residence permit must be provided.
- The certificate of business registration of the company in Peru is required.
- Even though the business visa is a multiple-entry visa, it cannot be extended after it expires.
- Proof of previous business dealings with the Peruvian company must be provided, if any.
- Receipt of payment of visa application fee should also be provided.
- A police report stating that you have not been convicted before is required.
