This visa is issued to foreigners who intend to make stopovers in the Dominican Republic.
Applicants of this visa may also have the intention of transiting through the Dominican Republic to their destination country.
Visa and other entry permits to the destination country are required.
Flight ticket of the destination country should also be provided.
Previously convicted criminals may not be granted entry into the Dominican Republic.
A medical report which shows that you are free of any contagious disease should be provided.
A receipt that shows that payment has been made for visa application is required.
Underage children should ensure they submit the original copy of their birth certificate. This should be accompanied by a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.

A passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages for necessary stamps.
Completed visa application form by the applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background showing the full face. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
Bank statement from the previous three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof that the applicant can cater for himself/herself whilst in the country.
Valid travel insurance with sufficient coverage for medical insurance. This should be valid for the duration of the applicants' stay in the country.
Confirmed accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
Copy of return flight ticket.

Dominican republic does not have an embassy in Kenya, Applicant are advised to make their visa application at the embassy in south Africa.
