The Official Visa is meant for those visiting South Korea for official purposes.
Diplomats visiting the country aim to improve the relationship between the government of Kenya and South Korea.
A diplomatic note from the Kenyan government is required. The note should contain your position in government, duration, and purpose of your visit to the country.
An original invitation letter from the government in South Korea is required.
Applicants of this visa are Heads of State, Consular officers, ministers, and African Union representatives.
Asides Head of States, if your purpose of visiting the country is non-official, this visa will not be issued to you.
If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be presented during the visa application process.
Diplomats can attend conferences and meetings while you are in the country.
You are not allowed to study with this visa.
Holders of this visa cannot be paid for the services they render in the country.
Applicants should ensure they have a valid means of identification.

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date.
Duly completed and signed visa application form.
If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
