Kenyans applying for this visa are diplomats and government officials who intend to foster the relationship between the Kenyan and Algerian government.
An original, signed diplomatic or official passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Algeria, with at least one blank passport page available for Algerian visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Algeria visas.
Applicants are to provide two recent identical passport type photographs in color of 3.5 x 4.5, front view, and with a plain/white background. The photo ID should be with your name and surname on the back to stick on the visa form: in original and in color.
An official letter of invitation from the Algerian government should be provided. The purpose and duration of the visit should be clearly stated in the letter.
You are required to provide a diplomatic note from the Kenyans government. Your position in the government, the purpose of your trip, and the duration of your stay in the country should be clearly stated.
Kenyan diplomats who are visiting the country for non-official visits will not be issued this visa. Only Heads of States will be issued this visa for whatever purpose.
An official means of identification of the government official is required.
Holders of this visa are not permitted to be paid for the services they render during their time in the country.
Government officials can attend conferences, meetings, and events with this visa.
Copy of international vaccination certificate of yellow fever is required.

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date containing 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
Duly completed and signed visa application form.
If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians are required to sign the form.
Three passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm) taken in white background.
Travel document must be complete.
Proof of financial capability.
Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations.
Copy of return flight ticket.
Documentation showing applicants' ties to home country.
A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
Medical insurance that covers the entire duration of stay.
Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
Copy of travel itinerary.
