  • This visa allows foreigners to visit El Salvador to partake in various business activities of their choice.
  • Business travelers can negotiate and sign business contracts, attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits, with their partner companies in the country.
  • Kenyans who intend to attend conferences in the country should ensure they obtain approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country.
  • An official letter of invitation from your partner company in El Salvador is required. The letter must indicate your job position, the address of the company, duration, and purpose of the business trip.
  • A letter from your employer in Kenya stating awareness and allowance of your business leave. The letter should also state the position you are holding in the company, the duration of your visit and the purpose of your visit.
  • The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in El Salvador.
  • If you are self-employed, a copy of your certificate of business registration and the income tax return is required.
  • Proof of previous business transactions between the applicant’s company and the partner company in El Salvador is required.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee should be provided.
  • Proof of the incentive of returning to your country.
  • Kenyans are not permitted to receive payment for the services they render while they are in El Salvador.
  • Applicants should be vaccinated against yellow fever before traveling to the country.

Business Visa from Kenya to El Salvador Requirements

  • Passport valid for 6 months after the intended date of exiting the country. The passport must two have blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
  • Duly completed visa application form which has been signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The photographs should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Bank statement from the last three months prior to the period of visa application. This is to show that you can take of yourself during your time in the country.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Travel itinerary.
  • El salvador does not have an embassy in Kenya. Applicants are to make their visa application in Ethiopia.
